OUR STORY.
It all began with a conversation between the NCUSLR and the future members of the Libyan Heritage House Committee regarding a lack of publicly available, well-researched, illustrated resources on Libya. It was generally agreed that, as a country which has remained comparatively difficult for non-Libyans to visit, the people, culture, and history of Libya remained relatively elusive to the general public. Further to this, a proposal to create the Libyan Heritage House was put before the board of the NCUSLR, which voted unanimously to generously support the foundation of the Libyan Heritage House. The Libyan Heritage House Committee has worked tirelessly to create an engaging and reliable resource which brings the historical, geographical and cultural heritage of Libya to the wider, global, public.
